Consider the following statement: "We spend more time connecting online but less time connecting in person." Do you agree or disagree with this antithesis? Explain your perspective using personal experiences. Discuss how technology has influenced the way people communicate and build relationships. In your response, include at least one original example of antithesis. 10/12

Prompt Response: We spend hours texting on our phones, but we rarely talk face to face anymore. Technology makes it very easy to talk with people far away at any time. However, screen time can quickly replace the deep moments we share when we sit together in the same room. We have thousands of online followers, yet many struggle with the feeling of being completely alone.

Summary: Today in class we went over rhetorical devices like hyperphora and rhetorical questions.

Reflection: I learned that a hyperphora is the technique of asking a question, then proceeding to answer it.
